In January , we hosted a cocktail masterclass for Bridgend College students studying for their BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality.

Dan Apsee, owner of The Loft Lounge, said: “Having worked in mixology for the past ten years, I have been able to develop my skills and experience which I hope to pass on to the College’s students. At The Loft Lounge, we pride ourselves on helping the local community, and this masterclass will hopefully provide the students with the practical experience needed for working in mixology.

Tracey Bond, Hospitality Lecturer at Bridgend College said: “We’re extremely thankful to The Loft Lounge for providing the students with this opportunity. It is through the generosity of local businesses, like The Loft Lounge, that our students are able to expand and broaden their skillsets, which will, in turn, help with their future employment prospects.”
